        beta version 2

        MESA

After releasing beta 1 on September 15, i have finally finished the next line of changes, Beta Version 2!

I would like to thank every single person who has taken an interest in this project, and I am so happy I am able to build this and make a difference.

I know not a lot of people have been using this project, for now, and that’s okay. This is a work in progress and building something new and fresh takes time. I am just glad people signed up and are excited as me for what this project can do for MESA!

Plus, now having Google / Apple logins will no doubt lead it to be much easier for new people to sign up!

Here is a brief overview of new content / features:

    • New Icon
    • View other Users In Communities
    • Communities System! Create and Found Communities (WIP, Beta Version 3 will allow editing profiles as well as uploading pictures)
    • InfoBox Builder FInally Works
    • Tutor Box Available for those who want to post their hours online
    • Search for Communities
    • Private and Public Communities
    • Delete InfoBoxes
    • Backend Mesa UI Tweaks (to speed development)
    • Alternate Logins Started Working Again (finally, for some reason)
    • Google Login, Apple Login, LinkedIn (might work, WIP) to sign in faster
    • Security Tweaks and Auth Tweaks
    • Better onboarding for Alternative Logins
    • Change Campus
    • Starting Work on Multi-School Support (futureproofing!)
    • Improve Community File System (currently WIP)

Thank you for your support. I know the app isn’t where we want it to be yet, but I am excited to build and get it to where it can and will reach. I will do another showcase at College of the Canyons around Beta Version 4 (which might be a bigger update, who knows) and the next update will be about smoothing the exprience and fixing a lot of the issues. Thank you all for a continued interest!

    Thank you, Joshua Rashtian.
