So, I got a 3D printer.
I posted and wrote a few months ago how I have been a huge fan of 3D printing technology. Now, I would usually use the school printers instead of my own, and that was for a few reasons. The biggest of which being, well, they aren’t exactly a quick and easy investment.
However, the more I used it, the more I felt like it probably would be better if I just got one.
Now, there was a few justifications I had for buying my own. Some of them just being dumb, but others making some sense.
However, this was the printer I landed on: the Qidi Q1 Pro.

Pitched as a Bambu Lab competitor, and at quite a discount of the A1, I figured it would be a great gateway into 3D printing.
Now the print I am printing above is actually the Scott Yu-Juan phone dock. Personally I find him to be a very inspiring creative that enjoying building and creating things like myself.
You can find the phone dock model right here if you are interested.
With that comes a few ambitions.
I do want to get more into computer hardware mixed with the software skills I have, and 3D Printing allows me to build enclosures and parts to help with that goal.
I am going to attempt to post more regularly on this blog. Honestly I have been mostly relaxing and taking a break from work for Christmas much like a lot of you. (playing Cyberpunk 2077 finally) and relaxing to give my mind a rest. I believe you should always give your brain some time to rest to put out the most creative and unique work. I plan on getting back to doing some minor work as well as school in January, and I plan to keep this blog updated with any new software as well as my ambitions for the new year.
But to all those reading, Happy 7th day of Hanukkah and Christmas, and Happy New Year!
